Ok, so I'm watching TV and suddenly it occurs to me to go into the kitchen and get a snack. problem is ; what if I miss some TV, as I don't have a TV in the kitchen that I can watch. what if I have to use the head? see, same dilemma. until now.... what I want to fabricate is a 10 inch LCD screen, battery powered, linked to a base station via a 2.4 GHz link. thus the remote screen shows whatever is on the big TV in the living room. the unit has little speakers built in to it, so you not only see what's on TV, you can also listen as well. The base station plugs into the eltrical socket on the wall. The TV hooks into phono style RCA plugs on the base station. when the unit is not in use and it's docked, it switches off and the batteries recharge. as soon as it's taken off the dock it comes on. When the batteries drain below 10%, a warning light comes on, letting you know it's time to return to the living room, so you won't miss anything. Naturally, there would be a little fold out stand on the back so the device could sit up on it's own....-- ecolonsmak, Jul 28 2003 TV room http://www.traditio...007_j_architect.jpgThe architect in the matrix.
