Hmmm... lurked awhile before getting an account to get a feel of the place. Then decided to lurk awhile just annotating before posting any of the ideas I had.
First idea. Searched around and found something very similar had already been posted. With lots of croissants! Decide this is positive news, I'm on the right track.
Second idea. Nah, after thinking it through some more decide it's not really anything special. Not worth posting.
Third idea. On September the third I do the required searching around halfbakery to see if the idea has already been posted. It hasn't! But I'm busy, should be doing other things, so I decide to think on it some more and post when I return from my holiday. 22nd September I return and post the idea, and wait excitedly for my first annotation. Get informed that my idea is redundant (by the author of my very favourite halfbakery idea no less, the idea which led me to the halfbakery) as a very similar idea was posted September 10th. Again, this idea has its fair share of croissants. Delete my idea quickly. Sulk.
So it's back to annotating for me, unless I get hit by another good idea, in which case I'm posting it really swiftish before someone else does it. No more listening to the advice to wait and think on it. You just wait...
