Fashion: Mood Indicator
mood bindigo   (+3)  [vote for, against]
demystifying

In hindu culture, bindi is traditionally used to indicate marital status on women, protects them from 'bad eye'. Male dot on forehead is called tilak. However today the religious significance of the bindi is largely forgotten and it is now worn as a fashion accessory rather than its religious significance, to the extent that it crops up on runways of fashion shows.

That said, the mood bindi/tilak indicates mood at any given moment by means of clear glass atop thermotropic liquid crystals.

And these thermotropic crystals . . . they get their info based solely on the skin temperature? Is the list you have there arranged in thermal order? Is "black" from extra hot, or cold? (sorry, I'm "mood ring" ignorant)
