Nice. It has been a while since I have javascripted anything, yet the tremendous value of this to countless internal enterprise software forms makes me wonder if it already standard somewhere, it should be.

I think some mice need to be placed in time out until the user recovers some sanity.

( My mouse decides to double click all by itself at times, which can make turning the volume off impossible )
