bandages for single people   (+3)  [vote for, against]
Adhesive bandages that can be prepared with one hand.

You cut the hell out of your finger. You live alone, or there's nobody around to dress your wound. Opening a bandage in this instance is like trying to clap for a Beethoven concert while drinking a martini. I end up using my teeth to rip the package and end up contaminating the sterile pad and dripping blood all over the place. A special dispensing system that allows the injured person to pull out a bandage with the non-injured hand and automatically strips off the release would allow the person to efficiently cover the wound all by themselves.

just wrap a little kitchen paper round the cut to stem the flow and give yourself enough time to open the elastoplast as we quaintly like to call them. no problem done it hundreds of times opening cans for my menagerie.

I read this as "badges for single people", I guess just to make it really official or to prove you're not just cheating on your spouse.

I read it as badgers....must be good company or something??

Excellent. It could work like those adhesive strip dispensers. (They're neat, except that mine promptly glued itself into a solid block.)

This sounds like a great idea, but I think married people would want to take advantage of it as well.

Single people could use some bandage to get together. I can play maracas and a little tambourine.

I suppose, yes, like a large roll of loo roll <g> I am addicted to the stuff in the sense that I use yards and yards for everything but when you have 6 animals running around well, you know...
