I agree with centauri about the spiderweb. Just imagine the things those dirty spiders have been doing in there. You'd have to get it thoroughly laundered first.
Incidentally, why should band-aids (we call them plasters in the UK) be skin-coloured at all? Why not bright red or lime green? Turn a simple cut into a multi-coloured celebration of life.

There are transparent bandaids available anywhere. Wound Glue and Second Skin are the latest products...they serve as a transparent, highly effective wound closure or cover; again, available in most drugstores.

This was really done back in the 1970s. I can't find it on the web, but there was "Pride" brand band-aids, which were brown and had a picture of an african-american kid on the box, looking confident.

I think there should be some black, darker tan, yellowy and redish bandaids in the mix. The bandaids are that color so they don't stand out and get noticed.

The thing I don't like about the "Second Skin" translucent stuff is that you can still see the open wound. If it is bigger than pencil end it looks rather grotesque....an open shiney, wet looking wound...yuck.

And I don't think [gnormal] was speaking about other designs for band-aids or plasters, Just different skin tone colors with NO design; to blend in.

Why not just make the bandage out of the skin of a chameleon? Then it will automatically change colour to match the skin beneth.
