Your Name In Chickens   (+21, -2)  [vote for, against]
Say it with hens.

At the BorgCo franchised facility, your name is laid out on a very large, smooth, outdoor, fenced area of concrete using lines drawn in grain by a special laser-guided robotic dispenser.

When the design is complete, thousands of hungry chickens are released from points on the perimiter. They make their way to the strips of grain and start feeding.

The entire scene is then photographed from above using a specially constructed very tall tower. Depending on the options selected, you receive a CD with the original image, and the option to order postcards, framed prints, posters, greeting cards etc.

I see some serious technical challenges here. How do you propose to frame the prints?

If you can solve that one, have a bun.

Can you use foxes to create graffiti?
-- xenzag, Jun 18 2011

Prior Art - I refer you to the previous BorgCo "Your Glyph in Humans" product, using the Nazca Plains, the inhabitants and a higher powered laser that would fry people who wouldn't stand in the right place...

Which also might explain what really happened to the Anasazi...

Hey, while you're at it, why not make a similar pattern in waterholes and take pictures of impoverished african children hurrying towards their life saving drink. You see, that's not quite but almost as offensive imo.

...you could have lettuce leaves and snails via webcam as some kind of personalised Zen meditation or just for someone who's very patient.

Probably best to glue squares of coloured cardboard on the snails as they can be difficult to see from a distance.

…and for the cheaper end of the market: "Your name in ants" - just a sugar solution spray which you write your name with on the floor, and then wait.
-- hippo, Jun 19 2011

.....is there some cunning way we could come up with "Your Name in Borgs"
-- not_morrison_rm, Jun 19 2011

//"Your name in ants" - just a sugar solution spray ....// [hippo] You need ant pheromones - see 2 of the links

// "Your name in ants" //

Cheapskate.

What we really wanted was "your name in cats" but the steamroller driver had "issues".

Patterns in chicken feed, we did this before.
-- Voice, Jun 19 2011

I suppose, technically, if you engraved the persons' name on the grains, that also would be "your name in chickens" and you could send them an MRI of a representative sample of the chickens gut, to prove it.

Misanthropic megalomaniacs might wish to bring about, by way of careful geographic and infrastructural planning and unstinting efforts towards complex, targeted social and economic decay in appropriately mapped out city areas, your name in prostitutes.
-- calum, Jun 21 2011

Someone needs to start picking up the rubbish around here...
-- RayfordSteele, Jun 21 2011

Maybe you could ask the prostitutes to do it, as they seem to be just waiting around ?

I was bummed to hear its not 'branded chicken meat' but just a point in time where they were just eating.

[+], but of course we want to scale up. Your name in Mysticeti, perhaps?

Has anyone noticed that only certain regions of Earth are considered optimal places for humans to live?

Is it possible that the lights of terrestrial cities and highways, when viewed from some distant planet, actually spell out "Happy Birthday Cynthia" in some extraterrestrial language?
