Wink Farm   (+11, -1)  [vote for, against]
farm of winks

Wink Farm consists of an array of pylons, exactly the same as those that are used to support wind turbines, except these have giant eyes topping them off.

The big difference is that instead of a revolving blade, there is a large winking eye, which is also driven by the motion of the wind passing over a set of aerodynamic paddles.

The winking eyes are similar to doll eyes, with large eyelashes and brightly coloured pupils.

They don't deliver huge amounts of power, but they do create a startling installation when dozens of them are seen winking at different rates on a hillside or sea-borne location.

Looks like they need to pay more attention to the cooling system. Not enough windows... or doors. Yes, they need more doors.
-- pocmloc, Nov 12 2012

Even with more doors, building it would be sheer Mordor …

Even if you had loads of doors, you could still have just one doorbell, then you could announce your presence with just one ring.
-- pocmloc, Nov 12 2012

Alternatively, you could put down doormats which incorporate a precioussss sensor …

But what about second breakfast?
-- normzone, Nov 12 2012

You'll just have to be satisfied with a couple of bagginses of orc scratchings from one of those elf-service places …
