Wink Farm consists of an array of pylons, exactly the same as those that are used to support wind turbines, except these have giant eyes topping them off.
The big difference is that instead of a revolving blade, there is a large winking eye, which is also driven by the motion of the wind passing over a set of aerodynamic paddles.
The winking eyes are similar to doll eyes, with large eyelashes and brightly coloured pupils.
They don't deliver huge amounts of power, but they do create a startling installation when dozens of them are seen winking at different rates on a hillside or sea-borne location.-- xenzag, Nov 09 2012 Prototype http://3.bp.blogspo...0/eye+of+sauron.jpg [TomP, Nov 12 2012] Golan Levin's staring eyes http://www.youtube....watch?v=1G0MzlfMPuMArt that is aware you are looking at it [pashute, Nov 12 2012] Bun simply for not being a euphemism for something disgusting.-- 8th of 7, Nov 09 2012 Can a Wank Farm be far behind?-- Grogster, Nov 09 2012 Double-Entendres-R-Us-- Grogster, Nov 10 2012 Very cute. Not enough windows... or doors. Yes, they need more doors.-- pocmloc, Nov 12 2012 Even with more doors, building it would be sheer Mordor -- 8th of 7, Nov 12 2012 Even if you had loads of doors, you could still have just one doorbell, then you could announce your presence with just one ring.-- pocmloc, Nov 12 2012 Alternatively, you could put down doormats which incorporate a precioussss sensor -- 8th of 7, Nov 12 2012 But what about second breakfast?-- normzone, Nov 12 2012 You'll just have to be satisfied with a couple of bagginses of orc scratchings from one of those elf-service places -- 8th of 7, Nov 12 2012 random, halfbakery
