A bit like Top of The Pops (UK countdown of the music charts) but instead you get to know "who ate all the pies." Like TOTP you'd have last weeks no.1 pie-eater and new acts coming in, you could have Boy-pie-eater-groups, pie eating to music, competition pie eating, formation pie-eating, people who eat pies and dance, backing pie eaters for really big acts. It could have a prime tea-time spot then the whole family could sit down and eat pies and watch Who Ate All The Pies?-- Miss Weston Smith, Nov 23 2001 Who ate all the pies? http://www.glitzyca...ne.co.uk/pies5.htmlTribute to fat ex-prog rockers - this week Phil Collins. Is this in any way similar to Miss WS's idea? [pottedstu, Nov 23 2001, last modified Oct 21 2004] Greedy American pie thief http://www.e-t-r.ne...nt/greedyyanks.htmlThis might make better viewing. [pottedstu, Nov 23 2001, last modified Oct 21 2004] It will make mincemeat of the competition.-- thumbwax, Nov 23 2001 Don't mince your words!-- Miss Weston Smith, Nov 23 2001 2 Pi R-- po, Nov 23 2001 I think I understand something Rods said. <ob on-topic>Who cares who's the world's biggest pie-eater?</ob on-topic>-- pottedstu, Nov 23 2001 In my provincial US way, I have been wondering who ate all the pies. There were many before Thanksgiving dinner, and some afterwards, and I am astounded that someone had a larger stomach or a smaller sense of self-preservation than I did and got up early and *ate all the pies*. Tsk.
I'll have to make more.-- hello_c, Nov 23 2001 Po: Pi are not square. Cornbread are square. Pie are round.-- StarChaser, Nov 24 2001 [Starchaser] never eaten at my place have you?
BTW I'm thinking of an idea to post about peoples user names - I think you have the nicest romantic name at the 1/2 bakery-- po, Nov 24 2001 Pie Volume= pr2h-- thumbwax, Nov 26 2001 Starchaser: Pies can be any shape you like you like, even star shaped. A bit like toast.-- Miss Weston Smith, Nov 26 2001 No. Bread is toast-shaped. That's why they make it that way. (Seriously, sliced bread is designed as a standard size to fit in your toaster, isn't it?)-- pottedstu, Nov 26 2001 My Mum cuts heart shaped toast for my Dad on valentine's day, so I think you'll find that toast can be any shape you want. Bread is the shape it is because it grows that way, the effect of toasting will not alter or influence that.-- Miss Weston Smith, Nov 26 2001 rods: pure as pie? (pure spies)
i thought this game wasn't played anymore?-- mihali, Nov 26 2001 I really like the idea of bread growing - and perhaps getting old and set in its ways.-- po, Nov 26 2001 Po: Mew? No, I haven't...want to invite me? <Groucho Marx eyebrow wiggle>...
Miss Weston Smith: I know...but it wasn't FUNNY like that...-- StarChaser, Nov 26 2001 Stars(inyereyes) come up and see me some time-- po, Nov 26 2001 as the barmy army so eloquently puts it, "shane warne ate all the pies"-- phlegm, Oct 22 2003 random, halfbakery
