Painted to look like the lower halves of the people sitting at it are various characters or animals. Cloven hoofed satyr, sexy saloon girl in net stockings, elephant, lion, clown, etc.
For extra hijinks, show the characters engaged in various shennanagins. Hiding aces in their boots, playing footsies with other characters, that sort of thing.
