When working at a large aerospace firm, I noticed that the interesting people I ate lunch tended to be fired after a couple of weeks. Luckily no one else noticed. So... a tv series.
A series of interesting people eat lunch with a guy. Then they get fired or quit or suicide or murder. The talk at lunch is about something important and interesting. The remainder of the time is watching all the rest of the company killing themselves in various ways just to avoid the guy and his lunch invites.
Finale of the series at the company picnic with waves of people avoiding this guy in every polite way possible. The big boss becomes a hero by sending the guy on a beer run only to... but that would be telling. Tune in next week.

<link>-- 8th of 7, Jul 08 2014 Damn...
The title was folded over to the next line in "recent", so read "The people I eat".
This is much less interesting than what I was expecting ;p-- Skewed, Jul 08 2014 Sorry, [Skewed], no Chianti, and the fava beans are off ...-- 8th of 7, Jul 08 2014 This guy would be perfect to hire as a hitman. A sort of Mr. McGoo of the world of bad luck.
You could do this as either a dark comedy or a spy drama of some kind.-- RayfordSteele, Jul 08 2014 random, halfbakery
