The Coconut closed knob brush   (+8)  [vote for, against]
A "closed" brushing device shaped like a small coconut and used to clean kitchen, bathroom or other knobs

A faucet or other type of spherical or semi-spherical handle or knob is hard to clean. When using a rag I don't feel I have reached every crack and crevice. If I use a normal "open" brush, the bristles catapult the cleaner all over me and the area I am working in; this is especially undesirable with cleaners containing chlorine, lye, alcohol, etc. or other chemicals that attack the finish of surrounding objects. I suggest a closed brush shaped like a small coconut with bristles on the inside roof and inside sides of the coconut. Move the brush up and down and side to side. Rinse the knob with water or other final cleaner and the unintended tie-dye bleaching of cloths will not occur.

Hard to clean knob https://encrypted-t...ji-asN3dvmXh3v40fkA
Round and semi-round knob type that is hard to clean [Sunstone, Feb 04 2013]

Somewhat similar wirebrushes are made for cleaning battery terminals. All-in-all, I just find it easier to lower my cleaning standards (and the lightbulb wattage).

The "inside roof" of a coconut is a concept I had not previously considered.

I hate it when the shit flies in my eyes. + For the attempt at best.

Might want to name it the Handle Brush. You would not want any painful misunderstandings.

I dunno. I don't find knob-polishing all that difficult.
