You know what I mean...when you go to start that new roll of packing tape...but where is the start anyway...for the rolls that don't have the handy plaid start indicator. But...why put a start at all. Call it Escher tape.

The stuff is so easy to tear linearly and so next to invisible that if you *oops* pull wrong, you spin off six inches of 1/8" wide tape and the other 7/8" is left behind. Now there's two nearly invisible tape strings vying to cling to you.
If the tape would turn blue or orange where it tears, that would solve the problem.-- reensure, May 12 2001 How about Moebius tape?
