Wendy's likes to be unique with their square burger. Why not a square bun? Maybe they could add some substance to it too, so it doesn't collapse down 1/8" when you eat it. The bread was choses because it would nt interfer much with the tasted of the meat. I think its important to a hamburger that the meat be the dominant flavour. If there are too many ingredients fighting it out, then you're eating a sandwich.
