Don't you really hate it when trailers for movies or the next episode of your favorite series show all the good bits and spoil the whole thing on the assumption that you have a goldfish memory and won't remember that your favorite show is on in half an hour? Aren't you tired of having to screw up your eyes, stick your fingers in your ears and sing "la-la-la" until its over?
Well the answer is the set-top spoiler/advert blocker. This detects the beginning and end of ad break spoiler slots that all channels seem to run. As soon as they start it interupts the signal and plays intermission music and shows you calming images of kittens or fluffy newly hatched chicks until the danger is passed.
Can even be set to different tolerances - if like me you cannot stand advertising at all it can simply cut out the whole advert break, whereas if you just want to avoid spoilers about the next episode of 24 it can spot Jack Bauer in an instant and interrupt the signal until he goes.
