Shaving incentive   (0)  [vote for, against]
Fed up of shaving every morning - get someone else to do it for you.

I've just about had enough of shaving, and if it didn't look too scruffy in its first stages, I'd grow a beard. However, if I knew that someone was going to come round to do it for me - and a pretty girl/boy at that, it would change my idea of shaving completely. Add to this the incentive of getting out of bed to let them in, and you have an added bonus aswell. You'd have a set time for when she/he arrives and they'd bring along all the implements to shave you with. - proffesional balms and lotions for a fantastic shave. You then pay on completion of service, or you could book your favourite girl/boy up for the whole week. Obviously there will be times when you are going out for the evening and you need an additional shave, in this case you could dial a shave and they'll come round, but generally speaking, I don't mind shaving in the evening - its just first thing in the morning that annoys me.

Given that barbers have been shaving other people since Egyptian times, surely this one is widely Baked?

I'm not really seeing the 'incentive' bit. Saving money would be incentive _not_ to hire them.

Barbers that make house calls? I've never heard of it. I don't think my girlfriend would approve of my subscripting to this service, but I'm going to vote for it anyway. Don't tell her.

In the UK mobile hairdressers that visit clients are quite common but I've not heard of a visiting barber.

Half the time I can't be bothered to shave, but if someone else did it for me, then that would be an incentive for me to be clean shaven all the time. Dr Curry, I agree that shaving is already baked, but I have yet to find any company that comes to your own home to do it. thcgenius - I too don't like the idea of having someone else shaving me - but as soon as a good looking blonde walked through the door, I think I would cast all my reservations aside!

Why do you want to grow a beard? So you look like a guy who plays guitar on a christian television comercial, or some kind of kiddy fiddler, or a horrible mixture of the two.

So he can look like a badass mofo, like me.

...or a scruffy git like me.

Wouldn't this method take far longer than the do-it-yourself method, as you wait for them to arrive, answer the door, invite them in, tell them what to do, let them set up their tools, pay them, etc. Part of the increased time would be due to the better service, but still you would have to get up earlier. Which is why this is a bad idea.

Failing that, you can get a beautician to come to your house and wax your legs, so why not just lie upside down and let him/her do your face?
