The problem is that although he is definitely obese and unhealthy, he's not even 40 years old - and the biggest single determinant for a SARS-Cov-2 fatality is age.

If he were twice as old, your Cunning Plan might have a chance of success but it's down there with the "exploding seashells" and "poisoned cigar" attempts to nobble Fidel C, of that ilk ...

It's maybe worth a try, but have you considered the parable of "King Log and King Stork" ? What's there may be bad, but the nature of dictatorship can go down as well as up. His replacement might be worse - he's been preparing his sister to take over (allegedly).
