Provide seats for elderly customers

How often have you seen an OAP standing on a stick in a checkout queue for 10 minutes or more. Why not provide them with a seat so that they can rest their legs and receive greater customer satisfaction.

OAP can bring their own seat. http://www.fashiona....com/Seat_Cane.html

OAP? Even something like a little stool with wheels would help.

OAP="Old Age Pensioner", British.

So how do they mark their place in the queue? Does the chair have wheels? Or do you just switch to calling numbers?

I sat in a long queue once, on a bench. Every time someone was being served, we'd all slide forward one seat; at the end of the bench, someone would advance from one bench to the next. It was weird.

Don't look at me, it wasn't my idea...That does look like what I had in mind, though.

StarChaser does not need a chair in a shop. He's in and out before you can say Halley's Comet

Time travel - I won't even get here for another two years. I'm going to need something to sit on.

I fear the elderly's courtesy seats would be quickly pulverized by young, vibrant, lazy obesetrosities.
