Shopping carts have a naggin design flaw that manifests itself in the winter. The wheels simply refuse to move in snow and slush, making passage across a parking lot very difficult and frustrating. As such, this cart has two small rockets on the front that are aimed down and slighlty behind. This will allow the snow to melt making movement easier, and they will provide a bit of forward momentum. Any accidents in the lot due to the melted snow freezing into ice can be easily avoided by throwing those special salts around on the ground.-- lego, Dec 15 2000 Putting ski's on them would be cheaper, easier and safer. Though I can see an argument for combining this with rocket propulsion. See that baby fly!-- DrBob, Dec 15 2000 but if you turn the cart upside down, all of the contents fall out.-- nick_n_uit, Dec 17 2000 The contents won't fall out if you have a net stretched over the goods first...-- DaveSt, Aug 25 2001 random, halfbakery
