People like their old rings. Or they like a new ring that is too big. Rings that are too big can get properly resized by a jewler at cost. Or people augment them with a chunk of dingy tape.

The ring adaptor is two semicircles of silver that clip to the inside of the ring. The ring then has a smaller interior diameter.

This is a very poor show for a halfbaker. Surely, the appropriate solution would involve some form of laser-based system for reducing finger diameter, or a device for controlled subdermal injection of custard to augment finger diameter as necessary?
