I thought to think up a way to make a touch screen that you didn't have to clean constantly because you actually <gasp> touched it, by using the the inverse square law of magnetism to tell the screen how far your finger was from it but ... stick a tooth pick in and see if it comes out clean because it's dang near baked.[link]
