An alarm clock with a coin operated snooze button, so that if you don't get up, you at least do something useful with the loose change you dumped out of your pocket last night.-- theircompetitor, Aug 30 2008 (?) P-J's visualisation http://picasaweb.go...5240408939031326194Interpretation of PiggyClock idea [pjtaylor, Aug 30 2008] (?) Alarm clock sends embarassing tweets if you snooze http://www.psfk.com...asses-snoozers.html [theircompetitor, Sep 21 2011] Brilliant!

Wait a minute. Just imagine the effort to offer this device with a straight face! Well worth developing this.-- pjtaylor, Aug 30 2008 +-- blissmiss, Aug 30 2008 Time for a change.-- 2 fries shy of a happy meal, Aug 30 2008 //the focus required to post a coin probably exceeds that critical point where you can't get back to sleep// I would imagine that that is the point of this idea.
Even more of a bun if you make it multidenominational, ie. insert 8x (given that most currencies operate 1x, 2x, 5x, denominations). This would require you to scrounge around, and wake up a bit.

That way, you "buy" a few more minutes sleep by donating. When it's full, take it to the charity and they empty it.
