Oak beat me to the 'over the head wire' sunglasses, but I'm hoping to get this one in first. I can't remember the name of the piercing, but it is placed between the eyebrows, where the nose joins the forehead. If two bar piercings one, above the other, were placed here, a pair of sunglasses with a specially made clip (similar to a pocket clip on a pen) could be attached. This would remove the necessity for arms on the glasses (the part I always seem to damage the most) and would make the less prone to fall off (they would only fall upward, rather than forward and upward). This has a fairly small market.

To [squeak] - normal sunglasses will fall off if you make a sharp movement forward, or tip upside down - ie from their normal resting position they can move both forwards and upwards. Pierced sunglasses would only be able to move upward (and a clip would make that a little more difficult)...hope that explains it

What about a combined piercing and sunglasses 'installation' which clamps itself to the bridge of your nose by forcing a sharpened bolt through the skin and gristle using a tiny pneumatic power-pack and dispenses a mixture of freezing-gas and anaesthetic at the same time? It would be removed by a hefty tug. The bolt would regularly need to be sharpened to combat the gradual hardening of the scar tissue. I smell a big seller with market appeal like that!

These sunglasses have such a cool resting position [squeak] they have no trouble holding back the advance in global warming. They're so cool they can't even smoke their favourite cuban stogies, yet they still manage to look good without one. It has something to do with hats. There's an idea...the pierced hat holder...any takers? Oh, re the clip on sunglasses - this may make people fear me unreasonably but I...am a FURRY! Boo! Whatever...anyway, these glasses (and my related comb glasses) were designed for an anatomy without ears. Some wouldn't even have a human shaped nose, which makes Pince Nez glasses (I think Morpheus' were a stylish variation) rather loose - there is enough room for piercings however.
