There should be a button on cell phones that you can push to simulate the pissed off, slamming the phone on its rest <clank!> sound. Or when you are really mad, and you can't even hang up the phone; it falls off a couple of times before you succeed! This makes a definitive statement without breaking anything.

A rubber phone, when dropped, would not make the violent CLANK! BING! sounds rather a boiiiinggg. That would be embarassing if you are trying to sound angry.

I believe that the happy marriage between the Rubber Phone [Ceder Park, Overpanic] and this device would be a great idea. Throw in an accelererometer or shock-switch to activate the SLAM function when the line is dropped.
