Saw a square balloon at the store and thought "What if you put magnets in these things that allowed you to put them together in various configurations like blocks with numbers showing which number goes where for various floating sculptures?" Then I thought "Why magnets, why not just peel and stick on all sides?"
To my surprise, I see that the magnet portion of the idea was put up by somebody else only this month.
My idea's different enough that I'll post it.
Square balloons with peel and stick corners that have numbers on all the sticky areas that you use to build various floating sculptures, sort of a paint by numbers for sculpting.
You'd pick a sculpture, buy the necessary amount of balloons to make it and follow the directions. "On the starter balloon's #6 attach the next balloon's #3. On that balloon's #8 attach another balloon's #2 etc. until the thing is complete.-- doctorremulac3, Aug 22 2014 An earlier version of this idea Magnet_20Balloons [doctorremulac3, Aug 22 2014] You could make a floating Mario http://www.techeblo...zed-lego-sculpturesWould be fun project for the kids at a party [doctorremulac3, Aug 22 2014] [+] Peel-and-stick might not work well as a ballons were blown up, but how about labeled spots to which you could add tape once they were?-- gisho, Aug 22 2014 Rubber yes, the one I saw was those mylar kind.-- doctorremulac3, Aug 22 2014 Ah - that would probably work better.-- gisho, Aug 22 2014 //your balloon lego bricks could be reused//
