At last, a commercial use for all those 'pun kings' out there - a directory of dubious-sounding (and baked) names which can be used by..um... circus recruitment agencies. Oh yes. A guy called Pat McGroyne? No way! A real, living person called Juan Kerr? Amazing! I for one would definitely pay b-i-g money to see real people with comedy names...and I'm sure I'm not alone. A series of serious spin-off documentaries could be made outlining the heartache endured by those with such 'funny' monikers, such as 'The Trials and Tribulations of My Life as Hugh Jarce'. 'Owners' of these names could be rented out for guest appearances, and get paid by the hour, and those submitting potential names could be rewarded with a cut once the agency discovers someone with that name. A bit like bounty hunting, only with fewer Bounty Bars.-- gizmo_man, Aug 01 2002 Wayne King has been on TV http://www.richsamu...com/nbcmm/king.html [DrCurry, Aug 01 2002, last modified Oct 21 2004] Mike Hunt has a band http://www.mhuntltd.com/ [DrCurry, Aug 01 2002, last modified Oct 21 2004] Hugh Janus http://keepthefaith...Hugh%20profile.html [DrCurry, Aug 01 2002, last modified Oct 21 2004] Dr. Paul Mycock http://www.jayshaw.demon.co.uk/He's a Mason - but I hope his name doesn't describe one of the rituals!
