To capitalise on the propensity of young children to wipe their mouths on their sleeves while eating, napking should be made in elasticated, tubular sections which can be slipped onto the arms before eating. Soon these will be fashionable in all the best restaurants and eating places and to wipe your mouth on a traditional napkin rather than your sleeve will be seen as a ghastly faux pas.
