mirror mirror on the menu, who has the best fare in the room?

Menu Mirror is a small magnifying mirror you can attach, (using the special little clip) to any suitable corner of a menu in a restaurant.

When the menu with mirror is positioned correctly, you can pretend to be reading it, whilst in reality you are secretly scrutinising the food of those sitting at the next table prior to ordering your own meal.

If I'm in a restaurant where I don't know which dish is best, I first look at the waiter/waitress. If they seem reasonably intelligent I ask them, "Bring me something good to eat, whatever is your favorite thing on the menu." Never been disappointed yet.

There is something vulgar about openly eyeing other people's food. I've often seen it done openly in the colonies of course.

Not as vulgar as leaning over and grabbing items off their plate.

Perhaps the Menu Mirror could incorporate a lazy-tong.

Is it not more perverted to scrutinise the food in secret?
-- xandram, Feb 23 2012

Vulgar and Perverted are quite different things.
-- pocmloc, Feb 23 2012

Vulgar: scrutinizing their food before they eat it.
Perverted: scrutinizing it after.
