Instead of asking "Will I get rich this year" and hoping for it to say "Without a doubt", this magic 8 ball might actually help you get there.
It does so through the use of generic good philosophy instead of "yes", "no' or "maybe" answers.
So don't ask it if you'll get rich, get more in depth. Say "I'm starting a new business that's much more exciting than my current business but my old business pays the bills. How should I proceed?" (shakes the ball) "We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give."
Ironically, that's the first think that popped up when I searched the web for generic platitudes. But some other answers to that question might be:
"For a man to conquer himself is the first and noblest of all victories."
or
"First say to yourself what you would be and then do what you have to do."
Keep the advice generic but sound and this little toy might actually do you some good.-- doctorremulac3, Jan 06 2017 /"For a man to conquer himself is the first and noblest of all victories/
