Some of the links put up on this site are fantastic. Over the last 6 months I've come across things I would never have found before or even thought about finding. I now have a list of about 60 websites in my bookmark list that I have got from this site. What I would like to see is a list of all the links put up on this site for people to access. If this is a WIBNI I'm sorry, but I think it would be a useful addition to the HB. I have searched the site and from what I can find it hasn't been put up before, if it has sorry and I'll delete this idea.-- sufc, Apr 25 2003 http://www http://www.halfbake...on=http%3A%2F%2Fwww [Shz, Oct 05 2004] Views http://www.halfbakery.com/viewI didn't know about this either, and still wonder how halfbakers should know about this... [pashute, May 28 2009] help file http://www.halfbake.../help.html#browsingLinked to from the word "help" up on the middle left menu. You're not actually supposed to need it to use the site, but if one wanted to learn more about a site, wouldn't this be an obvious place to start? [jutta, May 29 2009] We ended up discussing something related to this on an idea for automatically scanning for broken links. I wanted a list of my links so I could check to see which ones were broken.-- DrCurry, Apr 25 2003 I asked for this once too.-- waugsqueke, Apr 25 2003 So what was the response then? and will it be any different now?-- sufc, Apr 25 2003 Well a list of links submited on on the account page would be a start but I would like a full list of all the links on HB.-- sufc, Apr 25 2003 I never check the links! Does that make me a bad/lazy halfbaker?-- Pericles, Apr 25 2003 Oh! The WORST!-- bristolz, Apr 26 2003 Thank you, [Shz], for that informative link. I've been roaming this neighborhood for nearly three years, and had not stumbled upon that particular tar-hole.
[Pericles], without checking the links, you miss at least half the education the half-bakery provides, and more than a scintilla of its humor.-- jurist, Apr 26 2003 Could be nice.
Sheazy, wish I could use that it, but your search consists entirely of stop words.-- RayfordSteele, Apr 26 2003 I'm faintly surprised that "halfbakery" isn't a stop word, since it throws up a counterproductively large number of matches (over 3000).-- friendlyfire, Apr 26 2003 Sorry to come back to this one again but do any of you techie types know how to set a filter to access just links?.-- sufc, Aug 15 2003 see [link] and remark there.-- pashute, May 28 2009 [pashute] I have to give you credit.Hoping that an answer to a six year old question will be viewed by the asker is... is..
I don't know what it is, I just have to give you credit.-- 2 fries shy of a happy meal, May 28 2009 It is pretty nifty id'nit?
I can't wait for the day I understand how to use a computer animated design program and get to make my own funky shapes that I can look at from any angle. I mean, sodazoo is great but...-- 2 fries shy of a happy meal, May 30 2009 // I'm faintly surprised that "halfbakery" isn't a stop word, since it throws up a counterproductively large number of matches (over 3000). //
13811 as of right now (about a third of which are user profiles lost in the HDD crash, which say "please send e-mail to <bakesperson@halfbakery.com> to reclaim it"). Took ages to run the searchsorry about the server load, [jutta]! Just having the search results open in a background tab seems to be bogging Chrome down. I think I'll save it locally for reference, so I don't have to run the search again. Easy saving of search results is one advantage of having them all on one page, I guess.
Edit: I saved it, and managed to get a screenshot of the download progress at "1/2 B", which I thought was worth taking a screenshot of. Loading the page locally (from an SSD) still takes a long time, but it only takes my own computer's time now.-- notexactly, Aug 31 2019 random, halfbakery
