Light Bulb With a Fly in it, is a light bulb which has a fly trapped inside it. It's not a real fly of course, but it does buzz around convincingly inside the bulb when the light is switched on.
This is because it's tethered to one end of a tiny wire, the other end of which is attached to a rotating disk at the base of the bulb. The filament is protected from damage by an additional inner glass dome.
When the light is turned on, the fly begins to randomly bash around inside the bulb, casting weird flickering shadows. It had a removable Edison base, a double-A cell and a penlight lamp.
Shorting the center terminal to the threads with a hand-concealed bit of Al foil completed the circuit between the cell and the lamp, lighting the bulb. The removable base was to allow replacement of the AA cell and/or lamp. These days, it would make sense to replace the incandescent lamp with an LED.
I imagine this could be used to bake this magnificent idea, with a real or animated fly. Let me see if I can find a link!
