Laser Plane Designation Projected From Landing Gear   (+1)  [vote for, against]
Planes landing have lasers on the landing gear scrolling the 3 letter designation like a stock ticker helping to identify them.

Doesn't need to scroll, could just have the designation projected or a few areas. The top of the tail could hit areas on the top of the fuselage.

Could have different colors as well, so the plane in the pic would be "Blue XYZ"
