If the creme in an Oreo cookie was applied in a ring, it would hold in a jelly center.-- baconbrain, Jul 31 2008 Raspberry jam and vanilla flavour cream filled sandwich biscuits http://www.ocado.co...r=|3|1083|1277|4649Baked? [hippo, Aug 20 2008] You're sweet, but my wife wouldn't approve.-- baconbrain, Jul 31 2008 Not quite like Peek Frean (be very careful when you type that into a search engine, BTW) Fruit Cremes, but almost as tasty, I hope. Well, they'd still be Oreos, which I don't care for.
The fruity filling could be much more oozy, as it goes on the inside, between the cookies, held in by a gasket of creme. Kinda like the cream cheese rings idea, but not for bagels. All it'd take is a ring of nozzles to apply the creme, and another nozzle for the jelly.-- baconbrain, Aug 01 2008 - a sort of horrible, mutant Frankenstein's Monster-like hybrid between the Custard Cream and the Jammy Dodger?-- hippo, Aug 01 2008 Custard Dodger?-- jtp, Aug 01 2008 Ewwwww! -!-- blissmiss, Aug 01 2008 Recipe? This is a suggestion for a structural change to the cookie assembly, using the creme as a gasket, in the category food:cookie:oreo. I did not name or give flavors. And, frankly, I agree with [blissmiss]: ewwww.-- baconbrain, Aug 01 2008 oh all right - mfd withdrawn[jtp] are you sure "Custard Dodger" isn't a euphemism for something?-- hippo, Aug 01 2008 Fruit jelly plus cream filling, yum.
