Ice Cube Polarizer   (0)  [vote for, against]
Maintain maximum drink flow by preventing the dreaded "Damn Ice Dam"

There you are enjoying you ice-cold beverage when all of a sudden the flow into your mouth slows, and then stops! You look down in horror and notice you have once again become the poor helpless victim of the Damn Ice Dam. The ice cubes, those treacherous fiends, have aligned themselves perpendicular to the flow of liquid, depriving your mouth of the cool refreshing beverage it so badly desires! Well not anymore, my friends. Ice cubes, you have met your match! Attach the ice-cube polarizer to the rim of your cup and the small plastic fingers ensure that those pesky ice cubes stay polarized with the direction of fluid flow. No more swirling your drink in a vain attempt to dislodge the Damn Ice Dam. You can't outsmart the ice cubes with skill alone. You need the power of the Ice Cube Polarizer!

Hmm. This is nice +

Alternatively, you could have an ice cube spike that sticks up from the bottom of the glass and cylindrical ice cubes with a hole in them.  Thread a few on the spike.  Probably not as reliable as your design, though.
