In order to deal with the explosion of ludicrous warning labels, potential lawsuits, and nonsense, I propose the development of an ISO-Fool standard. All frivolous product-liability issues that pass the ISO-Fool standard are granted an exemption from lawsuit for that failure mode.
By the same reliable think-tank that oversees ISO-Granny, ISO-Fool certifiers are hand-picked from a short list of certifiable idiots, who go through an intensive background check, credit check, spelling test, software usage, vehicle operations test, math pop-quiz, machine shop practicum, and kitchen appliance applications exam. Notably dumb accomplishments are highlighted on the potential standard fool's resume, along with GPA at the last schooling level completed.-- RayfordSteele, Jul 14 2003 Inspired by http://www.halfbake.../Warning_20Dilution [RayfordSteele, Oct 04 2004, last modified Oct 05 2004] Common sense. alas, Not so common, is it?
