High beams often blind oncoming traffic, yet are very useful to the driver. 'steering sensetive' lighting etc.

'-eth' is a third-person verb ending. 'Thee' is to 'thou' as 'me' is to 'I'. 'Thine' (usually) corresponds to 'yours', not to 'your'.
