In some dystopian future, I imagine that Halloween sales and euphoria will spread so far around the calendar that April 30 will be the least Halloween night, being 6 months away on the calendar.

On this night, it is actually a thing called Walpurgis. Usually fires are lit to keep evil at bay.

I suggest it is a good night to burn all of the Halloween items, to keep Halloween at bay.
