In my town it is usual that when you walk by a house at night, you get spotted by a motion detector and a bright light flicks on. A light like constructionworkers use at dusk. It's a burglar deterrent.
I propose a garden gnome with the motion detector built in.
The light shines out the eyes and they follow you.-- zeno, Sep 30 2008 Gnome Defense G_2eN_2eO_2eM_2eE_2e_99_20DefenseThese gnomes were lethal. Ideal for mumbling in, and making others feel excluded.-- 8th of 7, Oct 02 2008 In Cheshire, there's an old nursery rhyme, taught so children as infants; "Taffy was a welshman, Taffy was a thief, Taffy came to my house and stole apiece of beef...."
Prejudice against the Welsh in the Marches has diminished over the milennia; it really has, you just need special highly sensetive instrumentation to detect it.-- 8th of 7, Oct 02 2008 //Welsh. Ideal for mumbling in, and making others feel excluded.// The Mumbles.-- po, Oct 02 2008 I've been to Wales. It was like being in England, only better. What beautifull countryside, what lovely sheep, what friendly people. I don't understand this ranting at Wales. Wales is good. It's like New Zealand, only closer to home, a bit colder, a bit smaller, a bit more hospitable.
I propose we stop ranting against Wales and every thing Welsh and put this energy in ranting at the devil and his mother.-- zeno, Oct 04 2008 Hmm, sounds like [zeno] has been possessed by an evil (Welsh) spirit. Nothing else could account for such deranged babbling.
