I don't see how focusing on Las Vegas indicate global warming. But girls in bikinis with surfboards in Anchorage, Alaska (or equivalent location) ought to be quite indicative! Especially as the warming trend seems to be the wave of the future.

Sorry, Las Vegas has too high an altitude above sea level. If ALL the world's ice melts, the projected rise in sea level is only about 70 meters (or less).
