this device reads your brain signals related to speech , femto seconds before you physically speak foul language the device censors your speech by broadcasting loudly, bird chirping sounds (or complete bird songs for curse laden diatribes) to drown out bad words.
so the device reads your speech thoughts, listens to what words you are speaking and then makes bird noise at just the right moment to tweet = bleep what you say-- vfrackis, Apr 11 2010 Computer Reads Minds http://www.time.com...9171,942916,00.htmlTime Article [vfrackis, Apr 11 2010] Intel Mind Reading http://www.google.c...Fl5emtgYFgD9EUP19G0Intel Mind Reading [vfrackis, Apr 11 2010] 7-second delay http://en.wikipedia...iki/Broadcast_delay [mouseposture, Apr 11 2010] fowl sounds http://soundbible.c...-barnyard-fowl.html [xandram, Apr 12 2010] A little less dependent on "sufficiently advanced technology:" A portable 3- second delay <link>. If the invention is to censor, rather than accentuate bad language, then it probably isn't going to work. If however, you really want people to really sit up and listen whenever you swear, then this is the answer.-- zen_tom, Apr 12 2010 random, halfbakery
