Discarded cigarette butts contain cellulose acetate that lasts for years, long after the paper covering is gone. If you want to put them to good use (but not as Teddy Bear stuffing, for example), they might be good for fly fishing.
Tie the fluffy fibers to a hook, as wings and legs of local insects that fish love. You get inexpensive trout flies, and cleaner streets.-- Amos Kito, Aug 14 2003 Fish eat cigarette butts http://www.ci.berke...obacco/environ.htmlDon't just put a plain old cigarette butt on a hook.
