When you're talking on a phone to someone over Skype, they never look like they're really looking at the camera because they're looking at your face on their screen. Proposed is a phone that has a small camera in the center of the screen that blocks out the minimum number of pixels required to achieve adequate functionality. Their gaze would then be closer to the camera, and the experience would be quite a bit more like a real face-to-face interaction.
