Egg Yoke   (0)  [vote for, against]
the skullcap-based, clothes suspension system

No more tired shoulders and chafed waists from heavy, hanging garments. A new, distinctive egg-shaped cap with ultra light suspension bows has been developed to transform the way we wear clothes. Like a disheartened, horned helmet, the handsome Egg Yoke not only grasps shirts, coats, suspenders (braces) and bra straps, but its three hook-tipped yokes can easily support purses, backpacks and balanced grocery bags.

A fresh fashion line accompanies the Egg Yoke with a loop on each shoulder and under the loop an opening to pass through any undergarment loop. Like the erect stride of an African with a head-balanced load, you’ll saunter with face held high and clothes breezily dangling above your shoulders and hips. Heads will turn in wonder at your stylish crown that relieves the spine by literally taking the shirts off your back.

(?) Oh! I thought you meant . . . http://bz.pair.com/fun/eggYokes.html
Next time, I'll read things more closely. [100kb image] [bristolz, Oct 04 2004, last modified Oct 05 2004]

Stylish and practical.

I detect a hint of sarcasm in your words.
-- FarmerJohn, Aug 23 2004

I propose a club consisting of males who wear this clothing all the time. They would be know as the albumen.
-- dobtabulous, Aug 23 2004

Then your detection is awry, no sarcasm was intended.
-- harderthanjesus, Aug 23 2004

One should not sit on tall walls while wearing this.

At some point, there's going to have to be an illustration with all your clothing ideas integrated [FarmerJohn]. I wait eagerly!
-- DocBrown, Aug 23 2004

I like the way the Egg Yoke helps to keep my garments off my shoulders, eliminating embarassing sweat stains on my clothing on sweltering summer days. Dramatically decreases the dry-cleaning of my judicial robes.
-- jurist, Aug 23 2004

I would imagine that when you turned your head your clothes would turn with it travelling much further than they normally would thus creating more drama in the action. Get noticed at parties!

Does Geocities hate me? Whenever I attempt to view one of FarmerJohn's illustrations, it times out on me.
-- spiritualized, Aug 23 2004

This would be great for eliminating the marks bras leave on my shoulders.
-- Machiavelli, Aug 23 2004

Seems to me the test of a pun mfd is whether the idea would stand if it were renamed to a non-pun name. This one clearly would.
-- waugsqueke, Aug 23 2004

I swear the pun title came after the "idea".
-- FarmerJohn, Aug 23 2004

I believe him. This could work with the name Yoke Cap. However, "idea," is that what you are calling it?

BTW, what is in the water you drink over there Farmer?
-- sartep, Aug 23 2004

Aquavit (life water).

spirit, is it a pop-up problem?

FJ, I think Tim Henman could use this. he is always fidgeting with his t-shirts.
-- po, Aug 24 2004

Po - it's just that Geocities never loads it's pages up. It's working fine now that I'm on a library computer. Perhaps Geocities doesn't like my sister's connection.
-- spiritualized, Aug 25 2004

Ha ha, ho ho, hee hee, I'll always treasure that etching, bris!
-- FarmerJohn, Aug 31 2004

Thanks. I had to make something appropriately arty for you, Mr. Farmer.
-- bristolz, Aug 31 2004

Wow, Bris, that's really good.
-- sartep, Aug 31 2004

That is classic.
