Efficient collection of zero point energy   (+5, -2)  [vote for, against]

A lab, equipped with a vast array of equipment for making perpetual motion devices, experimenters get one hour usage of it, in exchange for 30 minutes on an exercise bike connected to a generator.

In this manner, activity which has zero point, ends up generating energy.

What were you expecting?

If everyone working in this lab had to wear a sort of exoskeleton, designed such that EVERY motion, from walking to head-nod to finger-twitch, and so on, generates electricity, then you wouldn't need the exercise-bike generator. Each person wearing the exoskeleton would have to work harder to do anything in the lab, but would simultaneously be generating electricity the whole time.

I think I had a superhero/weight-loss exoskeletal suit post at some point. While you get used to the suit it adds energy, then it helps you lose weight then, when you're all buffed and everything, you can kick in the servos for superstrength at need.

//wear a sort of exoskeleton, designed such that EVERY motion, from walking to head-nod to finger-twitch, and so on, generates electricity..

I did think of that, but I was just too lazy to type it, and went for easier to type "exercise bike...."

Anyway, speaking of chiropracty for exoskeletons...

I regret that I have but one bone to give.

I'm taking that as oblique flattery.

[bigsleep] They have exoskeletons (well at least knee braces) for harvesting power too. See link.

//least knee braces for harvesting power

I think I saw a project outline for wrist brace which was the same, could be used by people mixing dough. Would give you more details, but that was on a knead to know basis.

Are you trying to get a rise out of us?

No need to be sour, don't bother trying to prove anything either.

Lawks, when (Ozymandius stylee) going through my own back catalogue, found the bruxism electrical generator...

Just capturing the key clacks of perpetual motion fanboys defending their pseudoscience would be a great energy boost.
