Pull out drawer freezers, in current home refrigerators loose a lot of their cooled air when opened. When the drawer is pulled out, it pulls the cooled air with it and it falls to the ground and warm air takes its place. With retractable walls and a floor, the cooled air would stay in the freezer and save on energy use. The retractable walls and floor would be like pull down shades, or like roll out R.V. awnings. The edges between the walls and floor could be joined with accordion like material that could roll up along with the floor and walls.-- crazyrog17, Dec 04 2007random, halfbakery
