Voice to text software is just too inaccurate and there are times when you just have to tweet that you've slammed your thumb in a door and broken a heel whilst standing in line holding a shopping basket.
There might be more practical applications too.

Dah = - Doo = ?-- csea, Jul 19 2010 This could make scatting relevant again.-- DrWorm, Jul 19 2010 I thought you'd need three sounds: one for a dit (.), one for a dah (-) and another for gaps between characters and words. So three doo's for a short gap between letters and seven for a long gap between words, if you were to conform to Morse standards. But come to think of it, one doo would do for a short gap and two doo's would do for a long gap.
They would be customisable though, so you could choose three sounds easily distinguishable by voice recognition software. Tum, Tiddledy and Doo would do too.-- shudderprose, Jul 19 2010 It might fall out each time you inhale.-- shudderprose, Jul 19 2010 You don't have to wear that dress tonight.-- normzone, Jul 19 2010 When their eloquence escapes me...-- AbsintheWithoutLeave, Jul 19 2010 You don't care if it's wrong or if it's right.-- rcarty, Jul 20 2010 [21Q] See [link].
