Crisp Dust Spout   (+5)  [vote for, against]
I like Dorito, Cheeto and Cereal Dust.

I like to crush up my potato chips and pour them into my mouth using the corner of the open top of the bag as a spout. Sometimes the top of the bag does not open perfectly and the spout effect is ruined, and the effect is often lessened by a hastilly opened bag that is not perfectly torn. I propose that potato chip companies make the top of the bag stiffer and in a pre formed spout so all you would have to do after crushing the crisps is pour them into your mouth.

(These particular ones would need the spiky bits removed.) [DrCurry, Sep 10 2006]

You could just use one of those spouts that goes on icing bags. (Whatever they're called.)

[But has visions of JHC, years from now, suing the chip companies over the long term health hazards of inhaling chip dust.]

I can't resist the dust either (I just eat the dust that ends up in the bottom of the bag naturally).

.....+.....here's my dusty bun. When I was a kid, I used to crush up the bottom of the bag of chips with anything heavy and delight in the tiny particles of chipedness.

Personally I hate the dust, but I could use the spout to pour it out before eating the chips.

I too love crushed Doritos. And flat soda. These peculiar tastes aided me in retaining my supply of snack food and drink while living with roommates, who would leave my crushed chips and flat soda alone.

My solution to bags with a tendency to rip was a pair of scissors or a sharp knife, but [+] anyway for bringing back pleasant college memories.
