Create a new type of over the shoulder handbag that looks exactly like a colostomy bag. It would be see-through, with a well sealed outer pocket that displayed fake 'waste matter'. You may then place your belongings inside, between the outer pockets, without fear of getting them wet etc.

This will help those with real colostomy bags feel less out of place, and to also prevent would-be bag snatchers.

On saying that - it would be a deterrent to a bag snatcher.
