I just noticed that coffeeish water dried on a white ceramic plate sitting at the bottom of my very slightly tilted sink. I wonder if this could be exploited to create coffee drying pictures or even 3d structures?-- JesusHChrist, Dec 14 2014 Coffee paintings https://www.google....AQ&biw=1280&bih=577 [2 fries shy of a happy meal, Dec 14 2014] Coffee printings https://www.youtube...watch?v=rVMukP_S_mw [2 fries shy of a happy meal, Dec 14 2014] Very cool. All of these images. [link] were painted with coffee so 2d for sure. 3d might take a long time. (+)-- 2 fries shy of a happy meal, Dec 14 2014 I may not have been clear about this but I was thinking of a system that would control the tilt of the plate and the air above the slowly drying coffee/water as it dried to create a picture. instead of micro placing each atom this would be a way of using fluid dynamics to place great numbers of atoms.-- JesusHChrist, Dec 14 2014 Even cooler!-- 2 fries shy of a happy meal, Dec 15 2014 I'm confused [JesusHChrist], I thought people see pictures of you all the time in their coffee stains? And grilled cheese sandwiches. And just about every other medium, however unlikely.-- AusCan531, Dec 15 2014 ...and it was during his coffee period that the then penurious artist used natural organic materials ...-- popbottle, Dec 15 2014 random, halfbakery
