Wouldn’t it be nice to fit together
Furniture with extra useless bits
And wouldn’t it be nice if they had purpose
Rather than just getting on our tits

You know you’re gonna play with all the loose stuff
Bits that just don’t fit or aren’t tight enough

Wouldn’t it be nice when days are boring
If you could occupy your self
By playing with the handy-dandy loose bits
You added to your brand new, flat-pack shelf.

Happy times undoing the loose endings
Watching bent bits gradually unbending
Wouldn’t it be nice?
